ABOUT THE CREATORS

​Director Sergine Dumais and writer/editor Bo Price have been collaborating together for over 10 years.
Sergine is from Montreal, Quebec. Bo is from Wichita, Kansas.
Together they created Slap Kiss Film. Their work explores the themes of complicated relationships: cheating, betrayal, and the agony of fighting for love.

Sergine and Bo's first film was the award-winning short "Wichita", starring Maxim Roy and Jeremy Sisto.
"Wichita" played over 50 festivals worldwide, including Aspen Shortsfest, Austin, and Cinequest, and aired on Canal + in France.

Sergine and Bo created and produced the live theatre show "Slap Kiss Kill" at the Hudson Theater in Los Angeles.
Their latest film, "Escape Artist", was made in Sergine's hometown of Montreal, and stars Bruno Pelletier. ​
Bo Price has written multiple plays and short films. He is also a film/tv editor with over 30 credits, including ABC’s The Bachelor, and the feature doc, Kurt Vonnegut: Unstuck in Time, directed by Robert Weide.

Sergine has directed the French language dubs of over twenty feature films, including New Line Cinema’s Shaft, starring Samuel L. Jackson. In addition, she has directed the English dub of over fifty TV episodes, including the Netflix animated series Mini Wolf. Directing stage credits include Little Women, the musical, Jason Robert-Brown’s “13” and “5 Woman Show”, which she co-created.
Sergine and Bo both studied with renowned film coach Judith Weston, where they met in 2012.
